Center for Healing Attachment and Trauma
In addition to individual, in-person therapy, CHAT offers:
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
Christina has 6 years of experience in facilitating ketamine assisted therapy. Clients work with their own prescribing psychiatric professional to screen for contraindications and assess for eligibility, and self administer their prescribed medication during office or at home visits. These sessions typically are a combination of therapy/integration, and deeper work on presenting issues. Ketamine is an effective tool for treating depression when used in a safe container therapeutically.
Integration of Psychedelic or Altered Spiritual States
Christina can provide needed support and integration when someone experiences an altered state, whether these events were spontaneous and surprising; through the use of psychedelics; or a result of intentional practices such as holotropic breath work or shamanic ceremony.
Video-therapy:
Christina uses the HIPAA compliant Simple Practice video platform to provide therapy or clinical supervision for therapists directly to your home or office. Using video allows you more flexibility in scheduling, and expands access to those who might find it difficult to make a trip to the office due to chronic illness, remote location, or lack of child-care. Only Colorado residents qualify for services at this time, due to licensing laws in the US.
Clinical Supervision and/or Modality Consultation:
Christina provides years of experience of supervising other therapists and teaching somatic trauma therapy techniques. Christina has received 45 hours of training in clinical supervision and enjoys mentoring others. Other areas of experience and interest include: integrative psychiatry as a therapy adjunct, Ketamine assisted psychotherapy, vicarious trauma, Gestalt, and inner parts (inner child) work. Christina loves to facilitate integrating new theoretical knowledge and skills with a therapist’s existing style and framework.
